Whisper Woods of Smithtown

In December 2024, National Development closed on the acquisition of Whisper Woods of Smithtown, an existing 125-bed assisted living and memory care facility located in Suffolk County, New York. Originally built in 2018, Whisper Woods of Smithtown features 71 assisted living units and 30 memory care units in a premier Long Island location 40 miles from Manhattan. The community enjoys strong occupancy, first-class features and a high-level of operations, and was named a Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care facility by the U.S. News and World Report in 2024.
