Benchmark at Scotch Plains

National Development, in partnership with Benchmark Senior Living, broke ground in early 2025 on the development of Benchmark at Scotch Plains, a new best-in-class senior living community in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. The development will offer 63 assisted living units and 23 memory care units, in a premier residential community located 20 miles southwest of Manhattan. The community’s assisted living neighborhood will feature a grand staircase adorned lobby, a bistro, club room, dining rooms, multi-purpose room, as well as several outdoor patios and porches. In addition, the community will provide a designated Mind & Memory Care neighborhood outfitted with dedicated amenities including an outdoor patio, dining room, hair salon, and recreation room. The senior living community is expected to be completed in Summer 2026.
